Traffic in Bethlehem peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. The food is very good amazing no doubt but there is a lady with white hair and she wears glasses she is tall and Big but not fat, she was very rude to a child that is 3 years old saying that becuase the family got food the baby can't get a pie then she started saying all the food isn't enough your not satisfied with the food but ok I'll give him the pie because your not satisfied. Then I told her but the cafe is most known for helping other it says every where regardless of donations you will be able to eat here, it's nobody's business but the family is going through a lot this week lights where shut off car broke down and things in the fridge well you know. But at the end the kid got what he wanted I thank the Lord he doesn't know what was going on other than that the other staff is amazing and I'm grateful for them I am, this lady is always saying something like she doesn't need to know why people re the way they are but as children of God we should just give a hand and be thankful we are able to help someone in need I just hope she reads this and softens her heart for people in need, there is people that will appreciate her more if she stops being rude

I’m mad I didn’t find out about this sooner, this place is heaven sent! The food is amazing, the atmosphere feels like home, it’s something we’ve needed in this area for sure. I’m excited to volunteer!!!! Thank you for making this happen for the people that are less fortunate to be able to have a home cooked meal everyday, now it’s possible.

As I sit here today I realize just what these amazing people do to make sure we are fed. What they must put up with, I hope they are more so appreciated then not. I see what they have to put up with and it just makes me appreciate them more. If it weren't for essentials, I don't know where I'd be without them. God bless every single one of the volunteers.

Located inside a very quaint town home, this Cafe is very clean and charmingly appointed. This Cafe is actually a charitable organization with Suggested pricing for their menu items (e.g. pay more or less as you can afford).

I love the concept of this pay what you can cafΓ©. I was overwhelmed that a post of mine on Facebook was shared like crazy and had an amazing response of people who also adored the idea of what they are doing. I had attended a One World Everybody Eats conference many years ago, and I am so excited that this concept has come to the Lehigh Valley! Great fresh food, and charming volunteers.
